Have you ever felt really overwhelmed with all the information about network marketing and how you can get free traffic? You’re trying to stay up to date with the new trends, tools, apps, and other marketers. Not only do you try to stay up to date with all of these different softwares and apps, but you also have to stay in tune with comp plan changes, promotions, conventions, super saturdays, etc… It gets to the point where you just want to scream “Oh No! Information Overload!” which can be really stressful trying to keep up with the Jones’ of network marketing.
In a previous post I talked about 8 or 9 ways you can market your business for free. The post was intended to give you more options if you ran out of ways to market your business. It was not intended for you to try them all at once. That can be very overwhelming, and as a result can cause you to quick your business. You shouldn’t really worry about what the next person is doing. If you’re novice at network marketing you should focus on 2 or 3 ways to market your business. Your first 3 months should really be focused on building your list of people and getting your name out there. If you’re using social media such as facebook or twitter I suggest that you try to befriend about 50 people a day, 5 days a week at least. I’ve met people who befriended between 100 to 200 people a day, 7 days a week which can be quite overwhelming, especially if you have a full time job. You also want to write in your blog, doing 1 post per week at least. The main thing is that you do not want to overload yourself.
At some point you may feel like you’re at a fruition with the methods you’re using to market yourself and your business. At this point you may want to turn to a tool or another marketing strategy. You may want to do video marketing and use social bookmarking for your blog for example. At this point you should focus on just these two things. That following month you may want to find a smarter way to blast out your videos and do something else with your blog to make it more attractive. So with each consecutive month you’re always trying to make improvements with what you already have. There may come a time where you want to change focus and do article marketing or maybe email marketing. The point I’m trying to make is as long as you keep your strategies at a minimum, the more you’ll stay focus and the less stress you will be.
